We've just made available an update for the Beech Duke B60. This update adds a number of new features to the Duke and resolves a few minor issues. The major changes are as follows:

• Mousewheel support added.
• Optional left-click/right-click mouse interaction.
• Improved VC camera system.
• Optional Reality XP GNS WAAS 530/430 VC panel integration.
• Improved support for advanced hardware input devices.
• More user selectable options in the Config Panel.

Avsim Needs Your Support

Avsim was hacked recently and all of its forums and possibly its huge file libraries were also destroyed. This represents very bad news for Avsim's owners and administrators, plus everyone else who has over the years had completely free access to their unmatched library, advice, forums and resources. It is therefore in everybody's interest to support Avsim in whatever way they can, so that this marvellous simulation site can regroup and relaunch. We hope our customers will join us in supporting Avsim in any way they can, either through donations or offers of assistance, or just by giving moral support.

Duke B60 Update

Following the recent release of our Duke B60 for FSX, we have so far received overwhelmingly positive feedback from Duke customers.

We are currently working on a free update for the Duke that will add the following functionality:
• Support for the RealityXP GNS 530 and/or GNS 430, depending on user preference.
• Improved support for advanced input devices such as the GoFlight and Elite avionics panels.
• Some minor updates to mouse and keyboard input functionality.

Our Spitfire Receives Three Top Honours in June

The two largest flightsim websites in the world, Avsim and Flightsim.com, and the largest circulation sim magazine PC Pilot, all gave our Spitfire for FSX top awards and glowing reviews this month.

Avsim awarded the Spit a Gold Star and a review which proclaimed:
"Right now this is the best model, not just of a Supermarine Spitfire, but of any prop fighter in existence. Bar none, this is the best representation of an airplane skin I have seen yet in Flight Simulator. It is one of the finest flight sim products I have ever reviewed." Read the full review.

The Flightsim review gave the Spit its coveted AAA award and to quote:
"if you want the best Spitfire, there isn't any question, you want the Flight 1/RealAir version. Is [it] that good? Oh yes. This is one of the best FS models I have ever seen. We've added links to a couple of movies hosted on YouTube, created by RealAir customers in FSX and featuring our SF260.

The first, 'Vantage', by Lotus is one of the finest FSX films we've seen and includes breathtaking formation aerobatics in the SF260.

The second, by BrettVisionSLR, is an excellent tutorial on using the 'wing-low' crosswind takeoff and landing technique. Turn your speaker up for this one!
